the Thursford Christmas show is now officially open!

Thursford feels very Christmassy with fairy lights and music filtering down the lane this afternoon…it is show time once more! Our little village is home to the biggest Christmas show of its kind in Europe. With singers , dancers, specialists acts including a comedian this non stop live show is truly Spectacular! Before heading home there is a breathtaking Lantern Light show in the grounds of Thursford , known as “The Enchanted Journey of Light”.

The festive events don’t stop here , there are Candlelight tours at Holkham Hall with each room decorated in a Christmas theme, Christmas markets offering local seasonal produce. “The Norfolk Light Express “ is a magical steam train journey.

Holt and Burnham Market are two local Georgian towns with a selection of independent shops stocking unique gifts for that special person. There are plenty of eateries watch the world go by and sample a glass of mulled wine or two before visiting some galleries, boutiques and homeware stores.

For beach lovers we have acres of golden sand, wrap up warm and watch the waves!
